During my recent stay at the Dom Henrique in Porto for a corporate retreat, I found it to be a practical choice for business travelers. Located just a ten-minute walk from the bustling Rua de Santa Catarina, the hotel places you in close proximity to the main business district, making it easy to access meetings and local restaurants. The spacious room offered a comfortable atmosphere to unwind after a day of work, with a large balcony and a well-equipped flat-screen TV in multiple languages-ideal for catching up on news or enjoying some downtime. The hotel provides various amenities, including a bar/lounge area, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, and conference rooms, catering to business needs effectively. Although the breakfast was diverse, it leaned heavily towards international options, which could benefit from incorporating more local flavors. The Dom Henrique's staff were consistently helpful, creating a welcoming environment for remote work and productive stays.
